Our first stop when we arrived at Myrtle Beach was Calli Bakers, and it was such a fun place to visit! There were so many cool things to see, and we couldn't resist snapping some badge pictures. The food was absolutely delicious; we all went for burgers, and I have to say, there were no leftovers at all! We were visiting Myrtle beach for a short vacation and we had heard some good news about this place.At first the impression was a little lukewarm due to not receiving utensils and our server being vague and disappearing for very long amounts of time.When we received the food it was absolutely delicious!I had ordered ... the chicken and waffles while my mom ordered the Pittsburg salad and a burger patty on top. Many historical fire fighter helmets and attire. Several items from Pennsylvania led to conversations explaining the original owner once worked in PA. Brought back memories of my times in Zelienople, PA. The food was excellent with many menu items to choose from. Mixed drinks were done right, and the sweet tea was ... great. Several outdoor seating areas and a lot of interior seats. The bar is central, with bar tender taking care of folks. It is a great place to eat with a laid-back atmosphere and many historical items on display. Well worth a visit with friends or family. Walls are covered with TVs and sports stations playing. Our first time here, we wanted to try something new before leaving town & we are so happy that we chose Callie Bakers!! Upon arrival we were greeted and sat down by the sweetest lady! We got a green tea & an appetizer, it came so fast! The staff all checked up on us throughout our visit. Not just our assigned ... waitress, EVERYONE! We never had an empty glass. Went there two nights ago for dinner. Service and food was outstanding. Very cool atmosphere, very clean, lots of TVs. We ordered take out tonight and again it was outstanding. Reuben, French Dip, Grouper Fingers and Caesar Salad all delicious. We have 4 more nights left in our vacation and we will eat there again.
